Re: General EMI Guidance?

how to connect EMI filters is usual documented in the VFD or Servo manual from the manufacture of these items. I have one of them for each Servo power supply in my machines.

Re: Wrong tool-offset calculation with Emcoturn 120 ( Rear Tool-Turret)

Here a Video how easy it works perfectly with a front set up lathe, should be same for rear mount, especial if most retrofitted CNC slant bed lathes are rear mount, front mount is mostly on DIY conversions of manual lathes ;)

Setting up tools on a lathe

I hope my spoking English is not too bad

Since some users have problems with setting up the tools on a lathe, I made a video on this subject.

Re: Wrong tool-offset calculation with Emcoturn 120 ( Rear Tool-Turret)

Hi Chris, yes that would be a solution, because with manual measurement normally no TT is in use. It is done with a dial indicator for X Diam =0 or with a skim cut dialing X Diam to the value from the skim cut. And of course, this way if Skim Cut is 10mm and manual measure rear tooling in a gang too...

Re: Only autocad R14 for DXF import!?? Trouble!

You can export from any Autocad Version or Inkscape to R12 DXF

For engraving there is no more to say, the tool centerline follows the DXF at the depth you want, that's it.
