Re: If you were to get a mill and convert it to CNC, what would you get?
Oh I completely agree on how long it takes to do a simple operation. Right now I'm diving into learning the entire workflow from CAD to CAM to feeding the machine. What I'm trying to make would have been done many weeks ago had I just used the manual mill, but I'm in this to learn. CNC is brilliant...

Re: CNC12 Offset Checks?
If using a fixture that works for both sides, you only need to set 0 on the fixture, and this will work for both sides.

Re: CNC12 Offset Checks?
You are sure that if setting 0 in fusion to material stock, and after the stock is machined, you set 0 for second side to the part edge and not the stock?

Use what works best for you, but there is no bug in CNC12 or probe app that makes a shift.

Re: CNC12 Offset Checks?
For two side operation set part Zero to a fixed point on the machine, or on the finished part in fusion..
I prefer using a point on a fixture, so I can run the parts without setting up Zero again in the CNC as long as I use this fixture.

Re: Software enhancements request
This jog feature is very nice, I have this on Siemens CNC with the Jog Wheel. Handy to set up multiaxis machines.
Would be nice to have it optional without spindle on.

Re: CNC12 Offset Checks?
Sounds like a mismatch of how you set part zero in fusion for both sides.

Re: Timing Pulley
It will change the reduction rate, or you have to change the other pulley also.
