That is for g-code.

Intercon is using the direction from the tool lib.

If you set a tool to CCW it will turn this direction in Intercon also.

Nice Video.

One main reason Linux CNC is cheaper, is that the commonly used 7I76EU Mesa is usually out of stock, so nothing to pay for 🤣

fusion 360 has a Centroid PP for turning, but with most parts I am faster using Intercon.

If analoge joysticks are not supported, I prefer wheels and buttons for speed multiplication...

My first attempt is printing now with BOB mounted on the back of te panel for easy wiring.

Got my additional hardware and made a quick CAD for a 3D printed enclosure of the USB BOB.

Using 3 60mm MPGs for the axis, and cheap buttons with external LED to test this out for my mill...

It might be harder to find an industrial joystick with octagonal gating but it is really easy to find arcade sticks with interchangeable gates. To me, the main challenge would be writing the PLC such that two jog button inputs translate to the appropriate diagonal jog button input. we already have ...

The encoder for threading/tapping must be 1:1 on the spindle so the CNC can find exactly the start position every time.
