Re: Feature Request - SSV
Of course its possible The question is whether you would like to make something like that? Because if you feel like doing something like that then it works and it will be finished this year I have something else for you......Have you changed the angle when cutting the G76 thread yet? Do that and ch...

Re: G112 on lathe? Milling flats with live tooling
I am using fusion360 also with an modified PP

You can use most milling toolpaths, since Y axis is interpolated with the C axis.

Re: Rough Motion on Circular Toolpaths
Try to change PA_00 - PA_02 to reduce vibration.

Re: G112 on lathe? Milling flats with live tooling
Sure it is possible:
But not with G112, you have to use CAM or for such simple shapes a spreadsheet.

Re: Rough Motion on Circular Toolpaths
Do you have a manual from the servo driver?

Re: turning radius - surface with steps
I do not think it is a software problem since my lathe is turning without visible steps.
I would try to use sharp inserts and play with U W in G70.

Re: Lathe fourth axis active tooling
My lathe is with XZCY axis, no problem for Acorn6 Lathe ultimate version.
At the moment G2/3 is not running in XY plane, but short vector linear moves will work to mill arcs.
Intercon is only for 2 axis, you have to use CAD/CAM or handcode

Re: Lathe fourth axis active tooling
Not sure what you want, the machine on the pic do not have a real Y axis.
But with a C-axis you could interpolate a Y-axis.
C-Axis will be the third axis on a lathe.
I have made a PP for fusion to do this on a lathe with Centroid CNC
