Re: Variables

That's awesome, thanks. Yes I do not want to modify anything, just see what they are currently. Cheers

Variables

Stupid question time but I can't find the reference list of variables,
Eg. #50** #40** etc. I did have it printed years ago but can't find it anywhere now. Also, where can you access the parameters on PC to find out the current value?

Thanks guys/gals. Appreciate the help

Previous versions of CNCT?

Hi all,

I recently updated my system to v5.22, however am now requiring to upgrade to the ultimate licence to use my C-axis.
I will be upgrading soon, but I am wanting to downgrade to a previous version in the meantime where the ultimate licence is not required.
I did not backup my system before ...

Damaged spindle encoder on lathe

Hi all,
Apologies for my extended absence from the forum, time gets away too fast.

I have had the spindle encoder on my lathe fail and want to run an idea past the brains trust.

The spindle encoder is no longer outputting a z channel. I have tested all outputs on the board inside the encoder to ...

Re: M3/M4 lost control

That’s a good thought and I would have thought that restarting cnc12 and the acorn would have reset that but I just checked and unfortunately that does not seem to be the issue. I can cycle outputs 1-3 and 7-8 with M commands just fine

M3/M4 lost control <outputs left in forced off mode>

Hi all.
I have recently upgraded my electrical cabinet on my lathe setup and now I can’t get the spindle outputs working. If I toggle the output in the diagnostic screen it works as it should and VFD runs as normal but I cannot get the output relay to trigger by using the manual spindle buttons ...

Re: Setting up a manual axis for spindle angle display

Just a quick tip I use. If the manual axis comes up M****.**** go to MDI page and type:- M26/M to reset the zero position for the axis. Occasionally the DRO will not read out when it opens. You can also write a macro for zeroing the manual axis to the index pulse, you will find that discussion and ...

Re: Centroid Mill Turn PP for fusion 360 (WIP)

With further development I have found the problem to be more sinister. The outputted path is not correct. The fusion model looks like this:- Fusion.PNG

If I PP with generic centroid mill I get this toolpath which seems correct:- Centroid_mill.PNG

If I use the mill/turn PP in the link I get ...
