Re: Thc problem

Hello Tamar I've checked out the reports from your THC when you ran the THC Calibration Job. Looks like the TX Board hasn't been able to read any good voltages yet. It doesn't look to be 60HZ noise but a constant high voltage that is flatlined. I would like to TeamViewer into the machine if possible...

Re: Proper grounding

That is correct. I recently saw an issue where A Hypertherm was wired into the cabinet. This caused stepper motor issues and the fix was to get the Hypertherm box's power from outside the Cabinet. Be sure to checks all the grounding and make sure nothing is isolated. This includes the table to the c...

Re: Hypertherm consumable alternative

Nice, I'll have to pick some of these up. Good to know and it's always great when someone has already tested an alternative product so there's no risk. Thanks Shawn 👍

Re: Thc problem

Hello Tamar I'm thinking that some settings for the touch off macro or possibly the gcode file that is being used has a invalid number set. Not really sure at this point but with a fresh "report.zip" we can take a deeper look and figure out where the issue is. You can generate a report in ...

Re: Running plasma table without thc

Hello Jerry. Can you give a better explanation of what the goal is? Are you going to try and cut with just X and Y motion? Just unsure of what your trying to accomplish. The touch off cycle can be removed from the pierce Macro(M61). Tho this is not normal or recommended as other parts of the softwar...

Re: Machine Alternatives Question

The Voltage Doesn't look too bad. I can see that the THC Did not come on until the very end of the cut when the voltage started rising which Drove the Z Down. Can you Edit the M62 Macro to turn on the Plot function on all cuts? Just go to the mfunc62.mac file in the cncm folder and remove the semico...

Re: Machine Alternatives Question

When you recalibrate can you please post a report so I can look at the THC History Plot. Unless set in the M62 macro, the THC Plot will only capture during a calibration or a job interuption. I'm very curious what the plots will tell us.

Re: Machine Alternatives Question

I would pursue the voltage divider from Hypertherm. The last generation Cut60 and the Latest Generation CUT60 have both produced to much interference from there divided voltage output. We have tested these in house already.

Re: Machine Alternatives Question

Sorry for the late reply. No progress on the Polabs Voltage divider yet. The Polabs Voltage divider actually flips the voltage from a negative voltage to a positive. Was not expecting that. Did examine the board and a tryng some TX Board modifications for cleaning up the Voltage. The Polabs was nice...
