Re: CNC12 v4.14 upgrade advice
I think I figured out most of this on my own. There is no easy way to import DXFs into 4.14, and I need to update to 4.2 pro to keep the other functionality I have. No big problem for me just keeping what I have for now - it works, and I can farm out my current DXF project to SendCutSend for less th...

CNC12 v4.14 upgrade advice
I have a Fryer 3 axis mill I equipped with an All-in-One control just before CNC 12 v4.14 came out. I also have a wireless pendant, just in case that matters. I started it up with 4.14, and it’s been working fine for me, though I haven’t used it much at all in the past few years. Recently, however I...

Re: Fusion and Intercon
Thanks. Its having that entire environment on the same PC as my CAD software that I think I want.
The obvious answer is for me to download the demo and try it out. Dunno why I didn't just do that; i'll try over the weekend.

Fusion and Intercon
Background: I’m a mechanical engineer by trade (industrial automation). I have a relatively solid knowledge of manual machining, and have been using CAD (mostly Rhino/Solidworks) as a tool for years. Let’s say I have an intermediate level of all of those. Recently I replaced my Bridgeport with a Fry...

*solved* problems with CNC12 after V4.14 update
Ok, that was pretty easy: I needed to change “jog panel required” to “no”on the control config screen. I should have remembered that.

problems with CNC12 after V4.14 update <solved>
...I'm sure I inadvertently changed a parameter somewhere, but I cant find it. I uploaded/installed the latest update, and now have two alternating messages showing up on the error window: 9029 Jog Panel Communication in Fault 2099 Message cleared ...when Estop is engaged. Report attached. any sugge...

Multiple control panels
Is it possible to run multiple control panels simultaneously on the All-in-one? For example, I’d like to hard wire in an MPG and switches to control axis and feed rate, but control everything else using the VCP. Or, maybe buy the Bluetooth pendant, and also be able to use the VCP. Or all of the abov...

Re: Glentek AC servos and drives with Oak or Acorn
Maybe this is a dumb question, but why not stick with the DC servos and use an all-in-one? I realize brushless can give more speed/power, but is the rest of the machine up to that anyway?

Re: Help with Allin1dc CNC11 to CNC12 upgrade
Hi Marty,
I don’t have the wireless MPG, but I’ll check the settings...maybe it’s turned on and I don’t know it. But everything else on the VCP works normally; wouldn’t that affect more than just the increment amount buttons?

Re: Help with Allin1dc CNC11 to CNC12 upgrade
Re item 2: My VCP won’t let me change increment amounts either; this is one of the last issues I need to fix on my recent installation. I’ve been getting around it by using alt-j and changing it on the keyboard.
