Re: Z-axis brake hookup help

Does your terminal block have the small round rectifier like mine does on the left side a little more than half way down? That is the AC/DC rectifier. It gets 110v AC in from terminals 57 and 2. It is switched on by the contactor. It puts out 90v DC on terminals 63 and 64. The way the brake works is...

Re: Z-axis brake hookup help

I just did the same retro last year. I left the brake just as they had it wired into the contactor. Output 1 on the allin1 goes to the contactor in series with the Estop switch circuit. It should have 2 contactors.1 for the VFD and the other for the 120VAC circuits. I paralleled both contactors from...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Tom it is not the helix I was concerned about, but more the time it takes. I am running this bore cycle very slow at 1 ipm or less depending on how big of a cut as to keep the chatter down. I did what Marc suggested turned on the single point and made a mfunc19 file except I only put in the M5 not t...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Thank you Marc and Tom. I was reading about the M19 macro Marc. Tom, I was going to try a drill cycle instead of a boring cycle to see if it does what I wanted. Does the spindle stop when it hits the bottom and then retracts? Or I need to do a "combo" of the M19 and a drill cycle. Thanks g...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Made a few test cuts yesterday. It turned out pretty good once I dialed in the "happy" speed and feed where it was not ringing. 20220402_164113.jpg Here is the boring bar I made from a blank with a rigibore boring ring. It works pretty good. 20220322_110939.jpg Using the canned boring cycl...

Moving right along with the mounts and fixturing. 20220304_100453.jpg 20220317_110139.jpg 20220317_110149.jpg The rotary adapter plate and the arms were both made on the machine with the centroid software. I have purchased a Cat40 Blank bar which I am going to mount a rigibore cartridge in and turn ...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Once again Marc you have hit the mark. I commented out those lines as my worklight is hard wired.
I truely appreciate all of your help. I have sent you a token of my gratitude.

Thank you once again.

Re: Milltronics MB24

I found 2 things commented out in the src file. The 1st is ;IF (Aux7Key_I || KbAux7Key_M || SkinAux7_M_SV) THEN (DoAux7Key_SV) The second I might have done to disable the worklight ,as I moved the clamp to out6 and put the mist on out4. All of that works fine. ;--Worklight ;IF (Aux7Key_I || SkinAux7...

Re: Milltronics MB24

I could use some help to sort out two minor issues. Or should I say a fresh set of eyes. The machine is working perfect. I have done a few tiny jobs on it and the control is easy to use and understand for a cnc novice like me. I have the VCP panel setup as in the TB194 with the 1-shot buttons. Keith...

Re: Show me your Custom VCP's!

Thank you again Keith.
I will get them loaded over the weekend.
Any idea why the aux7/face does not work for me?
Parameters are set directly from the list and all other buttons work fine.
