Re: Acorn reading spindle speed 4times faster than it should be <answered>
I recommend upgrading, I did so the past month after the original from 2018. I was apprehensive but boy it worked out just fine. I did as described above and it really was effortless. I ended up doing my tools over but I had to do maintenance on them anyway, so it worked out. I had a bunch of tasks ...

Re: Acorn Output (Flood)
Quick test and we are good, thanks again.
Now I need to clean it all up.

Re: Acorn Output (Flood)
The ratings for the relays are printed on them. I meant with Acorn Output, I over complicated this and the question is not applicable. I'll have 24 VDC going to the positive on Relay. Acorn Output 7 to the negative Relay and COM from 24 VDC to COM on output. Thanks again for the clarification. My e...

Re: Acorn Output (Flood)
Makes sense, I'll give it another look. Thanks for the in-depth breakdown.
Is it 5 VDC max on the output I can use?

Re: Acorn Output (Flood)
You need to provide your desired voltage to the com terminal of the relay. Usually the NO terminal goes to your device. There are examples of this in various schematics I have a schematic for my board. Ignore the actual hot wire for the pump on relay contact side, my relay takes an input of 3-24vdc...

Acorn Output (Flood)
Hi All, I have an Acorn purchased in 2018, so the hardware is a bit different than today's layout. I did receive the relay board and the PCB Breakout harness from Acorn to the 8 channel relay board back in 2019. For today's question, let's ignore the 8 channel board and consider a sole relay being h...

Re: SOLVED - Sunfar_C300 VFD Connection - No Reverse
Verified MDI control with Spindle and all appears normal. Feels good knowing my spindle is a bit closer to reality. I'm still off by a few hundred but at least I have the 0-6k control.

Re: SOLVED - Sunfar_C300 VFD Connection - No Reverse
Oh okay, so that is normal operation. So auto should go to 6k when from the program but only 3k when I hit the 100% button, got it.

Re: SOLVED - Sunfar_C300 VFD Connection - No Reverse
So over the weekend, I finally upgraded CNC12 to V4.80 from the original version shipped with Acorn in 2018. The wizard feature has a toggle for 0-5 VDC (not in previous versions) so this has really improved my Spindle operation. My question, when I press "100"% for the Spindle, why does i...
