Re: No signal from Acorn to the stepper drivers
Thanks to all of you guys. Today I will try to play with the parameters on the drivers. I have already two setups with one old Acorn and one other break board and the same drivers are working fine on the screw terminals and the connection is simple as the regular stepper- Step and Direction. The dri...

Re: No signal from Acorn to the stepper drivers
Yes, I measured with an oscilloscope. No any signal from the Acorn. This is my concern. The LED are green, on the 3 axis. Also the Acorn performing good homing by itself. I will try to unplug completely the drivers signal cables from Acorn and check again. I repeated the connection diagram of mine, ...

No signal from Acorn to the stepper drivers
Hi all, I have a problem retrofitting an old CNC router for friend of mine. I am very happy from mine almost 7-8 years old setup. Acorn runs super fine with Leadshine closed loop 3 phase steppers, NEVER had any problems. We have got a newest revision of Acorn for him and the same drivers- leadshine ...

Try to disable "smoothing edges". I had the same issue and I fixed this way.

Re: Drives that accept AC.
I use Leadshine easy servo 220v 3ph closed loop steppers more than 8 years. I run very heavy woodworking steel router 5x12 feet . No gearboxes, no backlash. Amazing performance, very good speed, very high torque. Also very quiet and low working temperature. Very reliable drive. Also Acorn works supe...

Re: Refusing to measure ONLY tool #10? (Resolved)
Hi Swissi. Thanks for your advice. I updated to the last version. All looks fine. I don't want to open new post. Now the controller does not execute M30 command. This is first an second, when I tell in the wizard the thickness of my Tool touch plate , on the Parameters shows is negative, minus is in...

Re: Refusing to measure ONLY tool #10? (Resolved)
Sorry to get up this discussion . I did again tool number 10 as a Probe Tool, in the wizard, and the same issue is here again. This time the tool is not diamond, and the Z axis does not want to stop on the measuring procedure. It is obvious the software said to Acorn not to wait for a signal from th...

Re: Refusing to measure ONLY tool #10?
Hi Swissi. I changed the tool probe number to 100 and now tool number 10 is diamond tool and all is good. The diamond tools are conductive. I use diamond tools a lot and there is no problem with the conductivity of the diamond. Not only number 10 of my tools is diamond. Somehow the machine "kno...
