Re: Request help with KP-3 Probe install
Solved: Apparently the +24V supply cable for Inputs 1-4 on the Ether1616 board was the issue. I made a new cable and everything is working fine now. Thanks for the info about the Ether1616. The information about the "common uses" was easily skipped over in the manual.

Re: Request help with KP-3 Probe install
Do not use 1616 for a probe, that works way better on the inputs on the Acorn, because they are faster.
1616 is for inputs and outputs that are not time critical.
Uwe
I moved the inputs like you suggested and now the probe works.
...but...I had to move something to the Ether1616 board, so I ...

Hello!
I'm having some trouble with installing the KP-3 on my machine.
Avid Desktop PRO Router

Re: Error Log: MPU Requested Resend - Solution
I have found that I will get resend errors if my acorn control box is powered on before my PC. If windows is up and running, and then acorn is started the error log stays perfect. I'm not sure if it has something to do with windows drivers or the acorn reaching out via Ethernet on startup but that ...

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
I guess I should have been more specific. I don't use a laptop. I just used the adapter that came with it to resolve the issue I was having on my PC.

Error Log: MPU Requested Resend - Solution
I was getting the MPU REQUESTED RESEND error in my logs combined with imperfect circles on my AVID Benchtop PRO with Centroid Acorn. I discovered the coupler on one of my motors was loose and fixed that pretty easily. I bought a new ethernet cable and tried various cable routing methods to keep it ...

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
I was getting errors in my logs with the MPU requesting resends. I tried everything that I found on this forum. I solved the issue by using the USB to Ethernet adapter that came with my laptop. The problem went away and has not come back.

Re: Macro for putting last tool used away when job complete.
I'll try it. I'm assuming that when you press "Park" it puts the tool away then moves to the park location, is that right?

Macro for putting last tool used away when job complete.
Hello, all. I have an ATC system on my router that I've been setting up and I'm looking for some advice on how I can setup a macro or edit my current macro to put the last tool away that was used during a job when the job is complete. Currently, when the job is complete the system returns to Z zero ...
