Did you have to do anything to pair them or do they come uniquely paired?

Re: TT to measure tool diamter
Process would be to touch off from left side record as X1 then touch off from right side and record as X2. Formula is then Tool Diameter = X2-X1-TouchOffPlateDiameter. Spindle should be running CCW. Probably not safe for fly cutters, etc however.

Two Machines, Two Wireless MPG's
Now that I am almost done with my Mill conversion and getting to know the centroid acorn a little better I am thinking ahead to converting my CNC Router to Acorn. This got me thinking about having two Wireless MPG's in the same room. I could not find anything in the manual about setting up an addres...

Re: Testing Tool Offsets
Thanks to both of you. After playing around with what you both entered I found out the H command is completely independent of the g43 or t command. g43 has to be entered to turn on compensation. After that H1 offsets to the offset in the tool table for 1, but seemingly is completely independent of t...

Testing Tool Offsets
How do I do this? I have T1 setup with a different offset than T2 and for example purposes lets say T1 is 2 mm longer than T2. I have Z set at -100 WCS. If I issue T2 changing from T1 to T2, I would have expected the spindle to lower 2mm and the DRO (WCS) to stay the same or the DRO (WCS) to change ...

Re: Stepperonline CL86T with Acorn
Also would like to note that V4 of the CL86T and CL57T (T Series drivers) no longer require the resistors. The Y Series drivers don't appear to have newer versions. They do still require the resistor it's just built into V4 and you select 5 or 24 with a DIP switch. The DIP switch is putting the int...

Re: Stepperonline CL86T with Acorn
This drive should be wired to the DB25 as it is a 5V logic drive. That said, if you want to keep it wired to Acorn header, I would feed +5VDC from the Acorn power supply to +Pul, +Dir, +Ena instead of 24VDC and eliminate the resistors you put in series with the -Pul, -Dir, -Ena. My .02 Marty Marty,...

Ok, User error. Did not realize there were two clickable icons. Thought that was one icon.ShawnM wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2023 7:07 pm They are all available in PDF format from the schematics link from Centroid. Here's the link and it's searchable.

Schematics
It looks to me like most all the schematics are in DWG format. For us mac users does anyone know how to easily view these? I can download them and open in fusion 360 but that makes them a little hard to browse. Are they available in PDF form somewhere?

TT to measure tool diamter
Anyone have any experience using a touch off tool to measure tool's diameter. Any scripts for cnc12 to include updating the tool library?
