i personally used robot 3T bord it works fine i did not use it on acorn it was on another controller i also know few others that have also . theirs also a guy on FB form that used Hypertherm torch on Everlast also . it was a wile ago .

i used smoothing on and off i found good drawings with cleaned up nodes does better then smoothing on in circles
then using heavy node drawing i found smoothing helped a little .
but nothing suits a properly setup rack pinion gear tight motion no slop
