Can I ask if it is necessary to get the Hypertherm WITH CPC control, I guess it seems obvious, but can't find it in the FAQ. Would be nice if you could use the Hypertherm Powermax 30.

Kurt, Are these mechanical switches or the SB 3 wire inductive? Assuming mechanical and with 3 tabs (com and NC or NO), are you sure that you have them wired in series properly? I am attempting to get my limit switches working for simple safety tripping. I have X and Y limit switches. They are wired in series between common and Input 2 on the Acorn board. Acorn configuration shown in below image. If I set input 2 to NC I can move the machine, but limit switches do not trip....

What type of touch probe would you recommend?

The last piece of the Puzzle is my Z touch off plate. I watched a video by CNC Keith and he showed how to rig up a conductive probe. I gave it a shot this evening and I think I have it working. Below is video of my testing and touch off probe configuration.
