Re: Setting up digitizing
I assume we are talking about a skateboard or longboard. I am probably going against popular opinion but I have never had any luck with digitizing and find it easier and more reliable to just draw up a model in cad. I suggest you improve your modeling skills. It will benefit in the future to quickly...

Re: Displayed Spindle Speed is Incorrect
Franco did a easy to follow video series about the KBSI about a year ago on his PM mill. I recommend watching them if you have not seen them yet.

Re: Displayed Spindle Speed is Incorrect
I don't know anything about your board but I had issues on my 728vt conversion with PM's 0-10V spindle controller board. Like you I only use the high speed pulley. I recommend playing with the numbers in the wizard and see if it helps. I had to adjust the spindle rpm to 0 rpm-4700rpm(machine is real...

Re: Z axis return to machine coordinate 0 problem
OK I have figured it out. After messing with it all day. Its the mist solenoid! When its programed to turn on/off automatically in fusion this happens. Running it off the same 24v power supply was a easily avoided mistake. Every time it kicked on and off it was causing the missed steps. It took more...

Z axis return to machine coordinate 0 problem <resolved, noise from solenoid>>
My Z axis will not return to machine 0 Its consistently offset at the finish of every run. Everything tests fine as far as turns ratio I have thoroughly tested and adjusted the commanded distance of all axis to under .001 and have even cut a few parts and they hold tight tolerances but between jobs ...

Re: Z Axis Plunging too Deep into part
Hello new here with my first conversion and found your thread because I was having the EXACT same issues as you. Everything seemed to be working fine for a few parts until I crashed a $60 tool straight into some aluminum. After reading through all the pages I started thinking it was just lost motion...
