you can use an OAK controller and change out the encoders and run the simodrive 611. I've done it on mine and it works just fine.

Two separat encoders per axis. I only changed out the 500 line that was hooked up to the heidenhain 407 controller with the 10000 line hooked to centroid oak. The encoder going the the simodrive is only there for the pid reference to the drive, thats my understanding anyway. I did not changed ...

I did change out my 500 encoder with a 10000 encoder from centroid. Was told that 500 line was to little.

I did keep mine and got it working good so far. I did change the main encoders on the servos. does yours have two encoders on the servos? one to the controller and one to the 611 drive?

So I'm starting to get good controll on the spindle and all the axis. The next step for me now is the ATC. I'm not to good on the whole programing thing, so i was wodering if someone was willing to write the program? I guess you will need a fresh report and some pics and maybe ...

trying to find a way to make my spindle fan output 19 on oak run 2 minutes every 5 minutes. I’ve got it wired to my lube also and don’t want it constantly draining my air on my compressor. Is there a way to make this relay turn on for 2 minutes every 5 minutes or any other custom time ...

I did have to swap the leads and now it all works. I have tuned the pid and run the machine test with no issues

Cant get it to run the program so i can start to tune it. The servo just run off and get a y axis position error.
