Re: Moving X and A together(Thread)JUST CRAWLS

Thanks,
Do you think my speeds you found will lead to troubles later? Other than just Jobs running slower?
Warm Regards, Mike

Re: Moving X and A together(Thread)JUST CRAWLS

My apologies, Mark, It was late at night and I was tired after 2 emergencies, rushing: As a former programmer, I know the importance of being precise.... SO: G1 G 91 F60 X1 runs 1 sec and all previous commands ran fast as expected, Then when you add A combined with X1 you get: G0 G91 A360 X1 crawls ...

Re: Moving X and A together(Thread)JUST CRAWLS

Thanks cncsnw Mark. I did your requested tests listed in your previous post. Everything was as expected until you added x1, then it started crawling. I even tried 30 degrees over 1", still crawled, but the feedrate went up to 0.3. Setting Parameter 94 t0 2049 did not help, but appears to be req...

Re: Moving X and A together(Thread)JUST CRAWLS

Re: Moving X and A together(Thread)JUST CRAWLS

G93 F2 was tried as well as 5, no difference.
The 7900 was set up by the dealer. It runs fine otherwise, it doesn’t complain about the speed. This is a servo system.
O help,
Thanks, Mike

When running each separately, they run normally at their set max speeds. when trying G1 X1 A 2880 F7800, It just crawls!! The onscreen feed r...

Re: Occasional manual override of lube

They turn on the mill for manual use. It sits unused most of the day. They use the mpg rather than the hand wheel. After a few weeks a pint of oil is on the floor so much that they unplugged the oiler. I guess I need to find a way to stop it because it leads them to unplug the oiler. After it has sa...
