Good advise and I have a difficult machine to get the encoder on....these guys have some stuff that might work for me.

Here is how I have the drive okay inputs wired. I only have shown one axis here but all three are the same just using a separate input on the Ether16.

Well I am using the 24VDC brought into the Ether16 and using IN5-IN7 for the Drive1,2,3AxisOkay. I can see them being lit up on the LED's when the Acorn enables the drives.

I'd be glad to know if I've done something wrong but I can see the inputs turn on and off on the board and the ALT I screen.

What is the MDI key?
