Re: C86ACCP out of stock, should I skip it?
Use the C86ACCP even though I had a bad one, they are the easy way to go. If Centriod would make something similar that was more compact not hanging by the pins.

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
Just got the new C86ACCP (that I ordered 5-19-22) wired it up and every thing works as it always had. Was a malfunction in the C86ACCp board. Caused me a lot of headache but I learned some more. One thing I know for sure I wish Centroid would make a similar board and sell to those who are using the ...

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
Everything on hold till I get the new C86ACCP to see if that is the problem.

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
So don't connect C86 accp to Acorn but hook the motor direct to the Acorn board? I will have to make some jumper wires to connect the Molex plug to the Acorn screw terminals. My C86 ACCP has molex connectors.

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
Ordered a new C86ACCP board will install it when it gets here and see if that works. I have switched motor leads and switched motors also. Still don't have X neg movement.

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
I just pulled one of the Y axis motors and hooked it to the X axis terminal on the C86ACCP board and it does the same thing, both direction commands results in motor only turning in the ccw direction. I then hooked the X axis motor to one of the Y axis terminals and disconnected the Y slave motor, a...

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
CNC Maryland Thanks for the Idea. I went into to the wizard and changed the X motor reversal from No to Yes, saved the settings and initiated a homing sequence, the Z and Y moved to their home positions but the X motor moved in the X pos. direction, even with the motor rotation reversed. With rotati...

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
I called Teknic about my problem to get some help. We conducted some test while on the phone, All test showed no problem with the motor, and they sent the procedure to test the Hardware Inputs into the Clear Path Motors, that also showed the inputs are functioning correctly. While on the phone with ...

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
Doing some testing to try to figure what is going on. I loaded a new V carve text file thinking the last two attempts were bad files. Router was set to cut air, it started fine but kept moving in the X+ direction no X- movement was seen and eventually worked its self off the work piece . I hit the E...

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
To answer the last two post. The HLFB circuits are connected to the drive ok thru the C86ACCP, I was under the assumption that C86ACCP had the resistors on that board. Going to do some more test today and try to narrow down the fault.
