report_0803202428_2021-10-08_16-36-36.zip Hi All, It's been a while, I've been in the background putting new bearings on the x and y ball screws. I still have new belts on order. Today I put it back together and reset the backlash and turns ratio I also did an auto tune on the servos. I then ran a ...

Re: inconsistant positioning
Thanks for the info. I’m in the process of working through the mechanicals. so far I found a loose pully on Y and one of the thrust bearings was not so good. So I’m replacing the bearings on both X and Y and putting new belts on as well. I’ve also checked the encoder mounting. I wonder if there is t...

Re: inconsistant positioning

Re: inconsistant positioning
Thanks for the reply. When I said I was chasing my tail I meant that I had already been through the process of setting turn ratios and backlash by the book. The probe was just to show that it's not consistent. Usually the repeat ability is really good maybe 0.01mm. I'm seeing about 0.25mm difference...

inconsistant positioning <resolved, machine loose>
Hi all, I have been using a knee mill that I retrofitted for about the past six months. Till recently it has all been running fine. When doing a prototype in timber I noticed that it seemed to not do what it was supposed. I thought at the time that maybe it was just a posting problem from Fusion. Fo...

Eurotherm VFD
Hi All, I'm in the process of trying to sort the wiring for my Eurotherm 584 s VFD. Has anybody wire one of these to the Allin1DC? It would be great together any advice, the wiring is a bit confusing compared to the print. Any parameter settings would be helpful as well. Thanks Rob https://www.parke...
