Hello all, -I am having trouble finding how to articles on how/where to set up my tool touch off pad. -using tool touch off pad to get tool lengths -how to set offset lengths in cnc12 -how to put a manual pause in fusion 360 so I can manually change my tool and hit go and it be ready to mill the nex...

so i updated my software to 4.5 snipped all my settings re-entered everything, now the steppers wont move. the cnc12 software says all is good and when i move the axis in the program the numbers move and such, but no real world movement on the cnc. any help would be awesome. i attached the report as...

mycnc 12 doesnt have a selection option for the KP3 probe in the drop down. does this mean i need to update my cnc 12 software,( of course following cnckeith's video on how to do so.)

apparently my googlefu isnt what it use to be.

do i need to mount an encoder to read my spindle speed on a PM-30? i tried finding this info on other forums. the reason i would want to control spindle speed and have an encoder to send feedback to the board of the speed, is if i want to try my hand at rigid tapping, correct? i have looked at Franc...

looks like i will be going with 3 of these power supplies. one for each set of motors and drivers.

Just use the three switching power supplies. They will work and you are comfortable with it. thank you, seriously. i have been second guessing myself on this. this was really my road block. electricity i dont like being in the dark or not understanding even one small part. 3 supplies will work perf...
