Powering the spindle
Is there a VFD that has enuf to power the 220 side of the machine by just connecting to the top of the fuses and my 400s panel would run as normal? Meaning I would not have to run the control wires from the DC 310 to the VFD.
Or do I just go with a rotary and power it that way?

CNC 10, DC 310 3 axis w/plc VFD Advice needed
Machine spindle is 220 3ph. I have 220 single so want to use a VFD and still use the M400S spindle control, or is there an inverter that will power the machine like it was wired 3 phase constantly. Borrowed a VFD, push spindle start button on M400 9, CONTACTOR kicks in but then have to open the ...

Re: M400S Power up
Replaced CMOS battery. Came up no input signal. While in the CPU I noticed the heat sink fan looked weird. Turns out the upper right clip had broken and nothing to hand on to. Pulled fan and heat sink, Chip fell out of socket. Reinstalled and zip tied the upper part of the sink and fan to hold ...

To get the report file I should just
Try powering the panel with 110 from the wall?
I should note the only difference in the power ups is that last time the spindle was fully extended when shut down. I had a
Problem with x+ Limit switch when I got it but it would still wake the panel.

M400S Power up (Resolved)
My 220 is not hooked yet so been powering up the M400S with the 110.
I’ve noticed after powering there has been a delay then I hear a relay or a switch and the panel powers up. Tonight I could not power the panel. Fan is running on enclosure so I’ve got power in.
Is there a relay or switching unit ...
