I tried this on three machines (with OAK boards) and it worked flawlessly except for the pop-up window for creating a restore point.
The "Create a Restore Point Now" link in that window points to a "System Restore" and NOT create a restore point.

You could compare your parameter settings to the "Factory Settings" as in the attached User's Manual. There really aren't that many for the early Sigma drives.

Just for feedback, I installed this update on three OAK machines today (1 mill and 2 lathes) going from 4.20 to 4.22 and everything went smoothly. I didn't get time to run any of them through their paces (been running the Haas all day), but all three seemed to function properly.

Re: MPG moving too fast error and DROs do not zero
Thank you for the replies. Actually, last night I tried hitting the E-Stop, releasing it and listening to the servos. After releasing the E-Stop, I could set both the DROs to zero. After a slow jog of the motors, and in a quiet shop, both motors made a lot more noise than I originally thought they d...

MPG moving too fast error and DROs do not zero
After an embarrassing long hiatus, I'm back to finishing up my OAK retrofit of a ROMI/Bridgeport EZPath S, toolroom lathe. The lathe has Yaskawa Sigma 2 drives set to precision mode and were tuned and set-up as in TB295. The lathe operates well except for two problems: 1. I get frequent "MPG mo...

Centroid CNC PLCAdd1616 I/O expansion board - AllIn1DC or Oak
Selling my unused Centroid PLCAdd1616 I/O expansion board. I bought this for a lathe project and did not need.
This card adds an additional 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 relay outputs to either an AllIn1DC or Oak.
Looking for $390 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: 1997 Bridgeport Romi CNC flat bed lathe Easy Path S
I put an Oak in a similar machine a few years ago. Mine also has the Yaskawa drives and I used an OAK board and pre-made drive cables from Centroid for simplicity. I can't help you with the contactor (I believe I rewired the spindle per the OAK drawings), but the spindle drive works fine with the OA...

Thanks!

Re: Bug/Format problem with MDI screen in v4.18 lathe
Attached is a current report. The problem is very repeatable...if P408 is set to 0 or 1, the MDI command line runs into the active G codes...if P408 is set to 2, the MDI command line is offset to the left. It doesn't do this on the knee mill...only the lathes. It appears the Active G Code Display pa...
