Im sure this wiring is ok for one Limit/home switch for the X Axis, The part im confused over is if i was to wire in the rear NPN Switch, how is that done?

Im sure i know how to wire in One x Axis Limit switch but how is the 2ND Rear NPN switch wired in?

Does this diagram look ok using just 3 x limit switches but are not on both sides only one side used for homing etc? and use soft limits as the safety limits etc

If i was to use 3 x NPN Switches? For the acorn CNC board?

Hi i wanted to have Limits switches on all the Axis i already have installed 2 x on my Z Axis and they are the NPN Switches so thats good

i installed the NPN switches on the Z Axis but ive still to run cable to them and yes ive read the manual and also looked carefully at the schematics and zoomed ...

Thanks for the reply luckily i have both PNP And NPN Switches here so can use the NPN on as it is an Acorn standard 4 axis one I'm using and installed

I know its been a while guys but im almost finished the build on my CNC Its called Bulkman Ultimate CNC But ive bought the Acorn CNC and upgrade the software to control the A Axis The A Axis is the slave motor to the Y Axis

so The Y axis has two x motors running it Y and A

on my control panel i made i have drilled in 4 x outputs for limits switches

I have for X,Y,Z And a slaved Y - A


Im wondering the best way for me to use my 4 x limit switches

Can i use the limit switches as homing also? or do i have to do those sepratley ive read ...

Im back doing my install again i using the Gecko drives and followed Acorns diagram for the stepper motor wires go this is awesome, but what pins do i use for Y,Z And A Axis?

Ive installed the first one X Axis to pins 2.3 and 18 ...

States a 4th Axis

But has limitations!
