Re: Any relay experts here? Interface Probe 4-20ma output signal..

Yes, I believe you are correct. My understanding was the probe interface unit interfaced WITH an SSR. It does not. It interfaces THROUGH ITS OWN onboard SSR. Just now, I managed to get the probe/interface box SSR output connections to connect Input 1 to Common on the acorn board. This works, I can c...

Re: Any relay experts here? Interface Probe 4-20ma output signal..

Well, I may have just figured out that the SSR output is/are the connection point for the 24vdc (on acorn) to an input. Am I on the right track?

Its pretty hard to digest the Renishaw literature, with no background in electronics.

Any relay experts here? Interface Probe 4-20ma output signal..

Hello folks! I am getting ready to interface a Renishaw Probe and controller box to Acorn. If I am reading the Renishaw manual for the P14 control box Manual link here- https://www.renishaw.com/media/pdf/en/c840a370b58f4e3db3068b19118eff9a.pdf (please note that this manual superceeded the Pi4 manual...

Offline Intercon bought, USB will not bring out of demo.

Good morning everyone. I bought offline intercon last week and received the dongle a day or so ago. I tried to get the dongle to unlock cnc12milldemo, but it does not seem to work. I can get cnc11mill demo to load, but the USB key wont unlock that version because the USB stick says "ver 4.2+&qu...

Re: ACORN 0-10VDC output to VFD always has residual voltage

Well folks, I have things pretty much figured out with your help now. I have the VFD under acorn control with 0-10v. I have spindleOk enabling the VFD. I have M3/M4 running relays correctly. and also spindle stop and start is correct. Next up is to wire the contactor for the VFD power input to the E...

I believe the board is a version 4.

Where/how can I check for this .1mfd cap?

ACORN 0-10VDC output to VFD always has residual voltage

Good day folks. I have spent the last day or so getting my Tree 425 Mills spindle VFD hooked up to Acorn. I have the spindle functional, reversible with M3/M4 and I have preformed the spindle tuning and everything works fine except for the fact that the Acorn 0-10VDC output never truly goes to 0VDC....
