Re: Unpredictable rural power.. online UPS?
I had simular issuesin my previous house and fortunately My computer ran off of a 12dc wall wart. T solved the issue by powering the computer off of a deep cycle AGM battery. I left it on a float charger and problems vanished.

Re: Help Newbie
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and after a complete shut down it came back up and I was able to get past the position the z axis was in and got it back up so I could continue with setup.
Thanks again

Help Newbie (Resolved)
I just have finished the hardware of a build and decided to add my 10 to 1 gearbox to the z axis and now I can't get the axis to move over and inch or so off of the table. It will move down and up but wont go over an inch or so off of the table. I'm guessing that home was set without the gearbox on ...

Re: Eth 1616 as a relay board

Re: Eth 1616 as a relay board
If I bring in each motor's HLFB signal to 4 inputs of the eth1616 board what function do I select in the wizard to shut down the machine. I haven't seen any examples on schematics that show its use for that purpose. It sounds too easy.

Eth 1616 as a relay board
I was wondering ifthe eth 1616 i/o board could be used as a fault monitoring board for the Tecnic Clearpath fault circuits? I have several unused inputs that I won't use? would it work?
