Re: Schematic for geckodrive 202
I think it is hooked up the same as the 201 or 203 drives. You will need a db25 breakout card. do not use the screw terminals as they put out to much power and will blow the pull up resister along with the little green fuse. If this happens you will have to get an RMA from Gecko to have them fixed.

Re: Motors not turning
Call Gecko and get a RMA to have your drives checked out and repaired. I sent 5 in and they replaced the pullup resistor and returned them to me. They only charged me just $13 shipping with free repair.

Re: Motors not turning
Not only the little green fuses but the pull up resistor blow out. The pull up is bigger and I think it may be soldered in not sure though. The green lights will light but no movement if the pull up is blown.

Re: Motors not turning
Do not use the screw terminals as they are 24 volt and the Geckos can't handle that. Use the DB25 breakout board. I tried the screw terminals on some of my 203 Gecko drives and blew the pull up resister that Gecko replaced for me. they told me that the step and Dir was over powered.

Re: Shopbot PRT
I will be getting my breakout board today or tomorrow. Is there a way to change the output from screw terminal to DB25 on the drive select page when I go to Gecko 201 drives.

Re: Shopbot PRT
Right now I am waiting for my breakout board to arrive. I did notice that when I make changes in the wizard and write to the Acorn that the next time I go into the wizard it reverts back. Example is when I change the drive to Gecko or even bench test DB25 and save it and write to the acorn the next ...

Re: Shopbot PRT
I'm still having to restart the controller to get a heart beat about 1 times out of 10 and when I don't get the heart beat sometimes I have to try 2 or 3 times. I got a new message the last time "Firmware is updating do not power off the controller.
