Mill Intercon Conversational Programing
To be honest I have not used the intercon conversational programing since I have been using the acorn over the last 2 years. For years I have been writing programs long hand for simple quick operations. I bought the full version so I could use the CAM features for quick programing instead of hand wr...

Re: error on wizard after update mill 4.64 from 4.20
I too was experiencing issues after updating to 4.64. I posted my issues here too, with no success. After a fresh install my problems went away. One of there programmers must be from CDPR.

Re: Gremlins
After not finding anything wrong with my connections or wiring I moved forward with wiping cnc 12 and starting over with fresh install. Immediately after the installation and rehoming the machine I could tell it was working properly. I ran my machine for 4 hours on 6/19/21 with not problems. My gues...

Re: Gremlins
Sorry for the delay. Here is a resent video on YouTube with the issues. Now it is in the x and y axis. The only way I can describe the problem is that it is losing steps. The problem is coming and going in all the drives and showed up right after I updated the software to CNC12 v4.64. https://youtu....

Re: Gremlins
Sorry for the wait I just got home from work. Just wanted to reinforce the fact this worked for the last year with no issues and wiring has not changed. Also the problem is only in X and Z and comes and goes. I added the manual from factory in attachments. SC8680 I added the last two reports. One wi...

Re: Gremlins
Ok I went out after work and started up my machine. Everything ran as it should so I rehomed machine. I made a fresh report at 5:42pm. I ran my Z screw comp program twice. Then ran my x screw comp program twice. On the way back to x 0.0 the second time the Gremlins returned. I immediately posted a s...

Re: Gremlins
That was one of the first things I tried with no change. I tried different pulse/rev with no change. Changed step frequency back to 200,000 and pulse/rev back to 2000. I switched the wires from Enable, Pulse, and Direction coming from the acorn x axis to the Y drive. The problem flowed. I am now thi...

Could some one please help me? I am having some issues with Gremlins after a year and the new update 12_v4.64. I have tried all I know to troubleshoot. I switched drives, steppers, cables, triple checked all wiring, checked for ground interference, etc. I have attached a link to my google drive with...

Hi I my name is Chris and I am new to this forum and have been a machinist for 20 years. First I would like to add that the Centroid Acorn CNC controller and CNC 12 is a superior control and program and I highly recommend it for machine builds or retrofits. Maybe someone can help with one slight iss...
