Z Axis Counter weight. How much weight??
Hi All: I have the precision Matthews 728 converted to CNC with Acorn 4 with Clearpath Servo's. I have fitted the machine with a dual chain lift counter weight system. My question is, the weight of the counter weight. If the weight is equal to the head weight, can the inertia unbalance the servo loo...

Re: Tool OffSet Question
Thanks for the response.
Z ref is the mill table. Then I have to keep the 2 offsets in sync.

Re: Need help with error 907. I'm at a brick wall!

Re: Need help with error 907. I'm at a brick wall!
Now I know... The T1 without the M06, tells the ATC (if you have one) to get ready for tool 1.
You don't have to wait for the ATC to index. The next M6 loads the tool.

Re: Need help with error 907. I'm at a brick wall!
Don't know how that happened. Fusion must have pulled that out of different library. The code posted does not show th whole block of code. It should read: (T1 D=0.125 CR=0. TAPER=118deg - ZMIN=-0.2 - center drill) (T10 D=2.75 CR=0. TAPER=45deg - ZMIN=-0.01 - face mill) N10 G90 G94 G17 N15 G20 N20 G2...
