Greetings All,
I have a client with an M400, #10960 (originally #6962 with a replacement console) running CNC10, Version 2.70. I don't remember which motherboard is currently installed. Hopefully, one of the Centroid techs can provide that information. The past few days he has reported intermittent ...

Re: Just asking if it is possible
Thanks for that. As it turns out, because the ALLIN1DC has the option to connect an OpticDirect board or an AC/DC drive into the DriveBus, there is no need to locate the +/- 10 VDC on that system, but I still think it would be interesting or worthwhile on those controls with older drive systems ...

Re: Just asking if it is possible
When I asked the question, I was assuming that the answer would be the same for all of them. As it turns out, it is for a client with Allin1DC, so once again you have provided the answer. I was not aware of that feature on the Allin1DC. However, since you didn't just laugh, I may pull out an o-scope ...

Just asking if it is possible
Hi Everyone,
Maybe I am losing it, or maybe it is just living in a multi-front war zone the past 15 months. I realize that it isn't practical, just asking if it is possible. Can the +/- 10 VDC command voltage be isolated from one of the Centroid DC drives to be used to drive an external AC drive in ...

Re: CNC12 Demo
Thanks, I was just not sure, when I saw Offline Intercon. At one point, I think the Offline Intercon was a separate installation.

CNC12 Demo
Can anyone point me to a place where I can download a demo version of the current CNC12 software? Or am I just being obtuse and it is included in the regular software package? There used to be a demo program that could be downloaded to a standard Windows PC that would simulate the Centroid software ...

Re: CNC 10 V1.51 not booting
Good Morning. Just follow this Technical bulletin. Unless you want to do it twice, replace the CMOS BIOS battery before you start.

Fiber optic devices
Greetings All,
Over the last twenty + years, Centroid has used a variety of different fiber optic devices from Avago/Broadcom, such as R-2524, R-2531, R-2521Z, T-1531, and T-1521Z to name just a few. When replacement is necessary, must the original part be used, or are there specific transmitters ...

Hi All,
Probably the first post from an active war zone. However, life goes on. Can anyone explain why when I call up the I/O interface (Alt i) on this machine, the descriptions that show up near the bottom of the screen, do not correspond to those called out in PLC (.SRC) file? Is there any way to ...

Re: Replacement knobs for wired pendant
Digikey has a very (very) wide assortment of knobs. Just measure the shaft diameter, or just check out eBay. I find it amazing that you can buy something for $1 AND have it shipped.
