The part I dont understand is, at a tool change cnc12 as it is standard does not ask you to reset Z zero? The macro adds this portion?
Trying to get a few things out the door and making a separate file for every tool until I have time to go over this.

Hi all I am new to cnc12, running some programs and reading thru some of the posts it looks like the only way to set Z height at a tool change is have fixed holders in library? , using a macro or the ultimate app? (will install later) I am looking to get thru a couple of small jobs before opening up...

Thanks again for everyone's help, mission accomplished, I know what you mean Sword and was crossing my fingers cutting this 2" thick walnut as a first job on the new setup, just got it running yesterday.

Shawn, just ran that latest file on the machine air cutting, it worked as it should, like you said I must have been setting something up wrong in vectric or cnc12 the first 5 times I tried it.

Thanks Tom! Thats what I was looking for. Scott, will have to update then, and the MPG is on the shopping list. heres one of the files I tried with the ramp in option (i think, had redone it 5 times before realizing it was the ramp in) walnuttopcut5.cnc here is one I just made same cutout with a pro...
