Re: AllInOneDC Power On Behavior

More than 5 years later and this issue happened again. I cannot jog either the Z axis or the X axis. The Y axis works just fine. I powered off and back on but I still cannot home the milling machine, or jog X or Z (with panel, virtual panel, jog controller).

This time I knew exactly what happened ...

Re: CIRCULAR POCKET TOOL OFFSET

OK Tom. Thanks for looking at my pictures. That was it. I feel so ignorant.

btw until the M6 SHC screws didn't fit, I have let Fusion360 do all my gcode. This was my first attempt with Intercon.

Re: Calculate Vfc with M55

Humm... in your VCP I see buttons I do not have. The 45's between the X & Y jog buttons and the Axis 0 and All zero. How does the axis 0 work.

Can you share the code for them? Does the code have to be compiled into the PLC program? Do the macros also work on the real CP (aux1, aux2, etc)?

Re: CIRCULAR POCKET TOOL OFFSET

Hi I have attached my circular pocket definition and the incredibly descriptive error.

I'm pretty sure the error is between the keyboard and the floor.

Re: TB294 Configuring Notepad++ for use with the Centroid Controller has been updated.

Hi Allin1Chris,

I use VSCode with an addin from marketplace "G-Code Language Support (Centroid)" by Daniel Berlin. IMHO it's a lot easier to install than the instructions for Notepad++. Configure VSCode to open any .nc file.

Check it out and let us know what you think.

Re: CIRCULAR POCKET TOOL OFFSET

I'm hijacking this thread since all the experts chimed in... Intercon - circular pocket. I have a 3/8" dia end mill = 9.525mm and I need to make a counterbore of 10.1mm x 10mm deep. I can't seem to get the program to post. It gives me an error on the circular pocket line but I don't know what the ...

DAC out switching from auto to manual

Hi,

My spindle is connected to the allin1dc for run, direction and speed. I use the dac output into my VFD.

Works nicely except that if I switch from auto into manual the signal drops to zero volts first.

I smashed one bit so now I programmed the VFD to take 5 seconds to decelerate so I can ...

Z Depth Graphic

Sorry if this is answered somewhere else, but I’m cutting a large block of aluminum right now and I don’t know how to change the scale of the left-hand Z Depth graphic. I’m ramping down slowly over a few mm but the display is scaled to 30mm.

Re: AllInOne Overheating? Oscillating

Replaced my VFD - really nice high torque at low RPM. BUT, I think that's what probably killed everything!

I was drilling a 1/2" hole and I noticed the end of the drill bit glowing. I had been using the same program to build 4 parts before this one. Maybe my speeds were too fast. E-Stopped the mill ...

Re: AllInOne Overheating? Oscillating

Tom,

That's part of my question: can I run this motor at 120Hz? Would love to for those small bits, soft material. Do I have to worry about overheating the motor?
