So I've taken a crack at what the correct wiring should be. Any feedback on whether this looks right would be most helpful and appreciated!!

First, change to "Sourcing" – so move the short bar from P24  PLC to instead be PLC  L (“sourcing inputs, external supply”, section 4-14 p. 217)

Just one thing I am still confused about, even after pouring over the VFD manual chapter 4. My confusion is regarding the common connections for FOR, REV, and RESET. You mentioned its ok to keep the VFD in sourcing mode, and my VFD (see attached picture) came out of the box with P24 ...
