Re: Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
For the enable indicator LEDs, I see three reds and one green. Red indicates an axis that is not enabled; green indicates an axis that is enabled. What "stays yellow"? When Acorn enables an axis, it pulls the enable pin down, from whatever the drive held it at, to approximately 0VDC. What...

Re: Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
Once again, try wiring it per the Centroid diagram and let us know if it works or not. Please post a current report from the machine so we can see your settings. Without this report we are just guessing. Besides lack of resistors, what's different from the schematic? Someone bashed me for running 2...

Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
I don't care if I'm an idiot for not being able to work, I just need it to....work. I've checked continuity through all the wires and they are good. Also tried the c86accp. The things just won't enable.. I've only got one hooked up. SDSK moves with MSP. Axis enables in software and sends 5v to the e...

Re: Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
Nothing looks right to me. If you would take the time to read the most recent revision of the Centroid schematics you would see that the Clearpath motors require 5v to the blue, white and black wires. You have them wired to 24 volts. :o You also need resistors on the step, direction and enable line...

24 vdc in doesn't look right at all to me, but im guessing since the wire goes out of the photo frame.

Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
Trying to do a favor for a f friend. I cannabalized a perfectly working 4 axis so he could use my motors. For all intents and purposes, this wiring mirror the one that was working. I hooking up a servo and cannot get it to enable. It works fine with the tuning software.

Gecko 210 and Acorn. I F'd up again
So I'm trying to retrofit an old AHA with Acorn. 2 axis lathe. Instead of using the db25, I though I'd just use the headers on acorn. Everything fired up and then the lights on the Gecko 210's stopped illuminatinating. I never touched the stepper power supply and the only thing I did was connect the...
