Ok. I homed the machine and then jogged to the start location for the part.
Then set part zero for all axis. I looked at the dro . The x z were at zero. The y was
-15.
Then redid the part zero. This time the dro displays zero for the y The part ran with no errors.
I’m uncertain why the part zero ...

Y exceeded travel.
Got a frustrating problem. I have a part 8.25 x 14 inches. The long dimension

Re: Tool offsets and fusion 360
Well I believe I had success with my first part using offsets. The only screwup came when I did setup for x and y. It didn’t match the zero locations in fusion. Basically it did all the surfacing correctly with both tools. The part was machined in the wrong position on the machine table. The tool ...

And not forget learn to walk first with working trough the Centroid mill manual.
I looked at the mill manual. I didn’t find it helpful because I am a newbie.
I did find videos going through some of the basic steps but they still didn’t seem clear.
I didn’t wanna destroy my machine so that’s why I ...

Tool offsets and fusion 360
I just for the first time setup the tool library. The offsets seem correct. I made a part in fusion as a
test. I used in fusion T1 and T2. Each tool will face the part.
But cnc12 uses H1 and H2. Do only the numbers have to match or do I rename the fusion tools to exactly match CNC 12.

Yup. Your both right. A build thread. Having all the information in the same location streamlines the troubleshooting. My mistake for starting a new post.

Re: All axes fast jog but in the + X it acts like incremental
I thought it was a new topic so I started a new thread. My apologies.
I’ll regroup and follow all the stringent Guidelines tomorrow for describing a new issue. Thanks for the help. You’ve been very helpful.

Re: All axes fast jog but in the + X it acts like incremental
I believe it was working before I modified the homing. I suppose I can revert back to the old X homing and see what happens.
