Re: Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes
Carefully checked all the wiring last weekend and found a loose connection on the E-stop button. Over the last few days have run the machine for about 6 hours with no trips. I think I can safely say the problem is now resolved. Thanks for the assistance. Phil

Re: Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes
Have currently wired in a voltmeter. Of course when you are waiting for a trip to happen, it wont happen. Vm voltage is 156v dropping to 150 when moving. Will continue The machine is wired generally as Drg S/14760. This drg refers to using H6/OUT9 for the spindle brake although on parts of the drawi...

Re: Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes
I dont have an oscilloscope. The Estop contactor coil is fed from the original Bridgeport transformer which is 24v AC. I noticed contactor does not have a snubber fitted. The other contactors have them but I must have missed this one. Also the Out9 I am using for the spindle brake. I will try and mo...

Re: Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes
Just done a few checks. Selected MDI. The machine jogged fine on all three axis at low feed rate 10%. Increased to 50% also fine. On 100% the Y axis tripped with 411 fault. Shutdown the machine and powered up again an hour later. I then jogged ok on all axis. I then homed the machine and ran a progr...

Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes <resolved, loose estop wire>
I upgraded my Bridgeport Interact Mill a few years ago with Centroid Allin1DC and have been really pleased with the result. However, powered up the machine a few days ago after not using it for a few weeks and started to get faults:- 410 “Z axis position error” also 411 “Axis full power without moti...

Re: LUBRICATOR NOT WORKING
Yes it is a Bijur. With it being powered only 15seconds every half hour, it was only getting power for a few minutes for a full day operation so maybe one shot per week ! There is still plenty of oil around the machine so no damage done. Have set the cam plunger to max stroke so hopefully will see s...

Re: LUBRICATOR NOT WORKING
I assumed the pump was not working because the lub tank level has not not dropped. I think the pump needs to be ' on' continuously, which does not mean its pumping continuously. Its a clock type motor/gear system with a cam actuating a spring loaded plunger. Currently it operates the plunger about e...

Re: LUBRICATOR NOT WORKING
Great ! Changing Parameter 179 to 0 seems to have done the trick. Was set at 3015 ?? Did I miss something on the install ?
Thanks Phil

LUBRICATOR NOT WORKING
I have an Allin1DC system on my Bridgeport Mill which is fantastic. I have just discovered the lubricator is not working. I removed it and bench tested it and it seems to work fine both the pump and the low level alarm. I refitted it and checked the wiring to the Allin1DC which seems ok. I disconnec...
