Re: Mill Pro upgade to digitizing bundle

I asked for this less than an hour after I got my license file for the first time but was told it was not an option (just a couple of months ago)
I am so genuinely glad its now an option! I didn't want to have to buy the entire package a second time just to get the probing functions unlocked!

Re: ATC Spindle Proximity Switches

Its nearly the same spindle as I have, except it looks like they put a different label on it. give it the 24v it needs, and test the output with a meter. signal line should be neutral. Mine worked with my Ethernet smooth stepper setup because it used NPN, but the acorn sends +24v out from its inputs...

Re: Acorn expansion board

Just in case pre-orders are only offered to people that expressed interest, I'd like to put my name down for one too!

Re: M95 not working?

Thank you both very much. I thought I may have changed something myself that stopped this from working, since I was not able to find anyone else having this specific problem with a quick search here on the forums. Since I’m still setting everything up on my machine, and I end up in the wizard more t...

M95 not working?

I've been working towards getting my ATC up and running, and I'm getting close. One thing that I believe could be my fault (somehow?) is my M95/15 call in my m6 macro does not clamp the tool clamp. the M94 Does unclamp the tool holder, and I can actuate it manually both clamped and unclamped via ctr...

Re: switching acorn outputs

Could something else be blocking the use of M6 and M8? I have cycled through the 3 different stages you can cycle on the IO screen, and can activate them and deactivate them via the ctrl+alt+f while each is highlighted, but the M61-8 mdi still does nothing for any of my outputs that are assigned to ...

Re: 0-10V analog output voltage not constant (Resolved)

Many power supplies, Acorn included, will take 240vac. Even computer power supplies. Did you check them? I know all of my power supplies will take 240vac. the primary reason I dont run them at 240vac is the VFD is not in the electronics cabinet but seperated by a few feet. Also, I had purchased a 2...

Re: 0-10V analog output voltage not constant (Resolved)

If you are in US. 240 single phase is 2 hots, and one ground period. Yes, there is a neutral and it and the ground are supposed to be tied together at the service entrance point and is used for 120VAC from Phase to neutral. If your control is ALL 240VAC, you have two hots and one ground coming into...

Re: Acorn ATC Overview

Can I ask a noob-question? I'm not completely new to CNC, but the reason I switched to acorn is I dont want to learn to program any new language. Aside from basic g-code, my programming skills are very very low. With that in mind, I want to use the forked rack mount ATC macro in this file. The quest...
