Re: All In One bench test
If I had no servo power the motors, they wouldn't be moving at all. All encoders checked out when I spun the motors belts by hand and register on the screen when the motors are energized. Bob

Re: All In One bench test
As I said earlier on. The machine is fully operational as far wiring goes. All my limits, lube, spindle fault are hooked up and functioning. Yes, that is exactly how I run the motors. with one hand on the mushroom button. The first time it took off on me it hit the limit and died. The machine is fun...

Re: All In One bench test
Not it doesn't. It's missing so much info it's pathetic. Turn off you parameters for a bench test. Show me were it tells you to turn them back on? The instructions are nothing but crap. They assumes your using all new components when your not and doesn't give detail to 50% of the buyers that are not...

Re: All In One bench test
Marty, give the drama a break. That's what limit switches are for. I hope you charging for that time?

Re: All In One bench test
Thanks Marty, I'm using my original motors which are attached to the machine. Taking these puppies off is an all day job. It's happening on X and Y. Didn't even try Z. All my motor leads are the same. I'll swap'em out and see what happens. This is begging to get exciting. Thanks again. Bob L

Re: All In One bench test
I got motion baby! Had to change the lube float switch back again but it works! Sorda. When I go to jog an axes the thing takes off a full speed until it hits the limit. I have override at 10% and I made sure the panel was set to jog. Also when I push Y- it goes y+. Life is looking up! Bob L

Re: All In One bench test
Another shot at the report. I'm following the instructions here for doing this. If the report is not here? Please by all means give me direction.

Re: All In One bench test
All my switches are set up per this drawing. If the plc settings are wrong? I wouldn't know.

Re: All In One bench test
Marty, yes I have the VFD connected. I have 24Vdc at the spindle fault terminal meaning it is NC but I'll check it again. I followed the earlier directions for creating a report. I'll try again in the morning.
