Re: lathe probe\offset with boring bars
I have the same problem. Offsets for length do not auto measure if the tool is set as an ID. Moreover, the offset of the reference tool is lost.

This is a lathe post processor for Solid Cam ( https://solidcam.com/ ) .
You can post your postprocessor here. It is interesting to compare yours and mine.

Re: Lathe SolidCam Post Processor for Acorn.
Hi
Made corrections in the post processor. The threading cycle now works correctly.

Lathe SolidCam Post Processor for Acorn.
Hi
Here's a lathe post processor for SolidCam. It is based on the standard Fanuc 0t.
I made some changes to Fanuc 0t original post processor.
If someone can make useful changes to the post processor, please post the changes here.
My knowledge was enough only for what I posted.
Sorry for my English ...

Re: Problem with threading
Hi.
The problem is solved.
Turkish encoder thrown in the trash. I put a servo motor on the spindle drive RS automation CSD5-15BX1+RSMD-15BR1ASK3 1.5kW.
That was a good idea. Now the spindle has stable revolutions and excellent power.
Thanks to everyone who took part in solving my problem.

Re: Problem with threading
There is one more question. I want to put a servo motor on the spindle drive. It is possible to purchase a TECO 1.5KW 3000rpm 4.8Nm 220V servomotor.
Judging by the description, this servo motor may come up. How to solve the reverse issue I have an idea. I'm not sure if I can use the native encoder ...

Re: Problem with threading
Today I set the encoder this way. Yesterday it was tightly connected to the spindle and the result was the same as today.

Re: Problem with threading
Hi
Today moved the encoder and encoder cable away from the VFD and the motor. Native encoder cable twisted pair. Checked. Nothing helped. At any speed, the thread is not correct.
I noticed the following. If you turn on the spindle and set 600 rpm on the screen, the revolutions float stably between ...

Re: Problem with threading
I'm from Ukraine.
I also think the problem is in the encoder. Counts from 0 to 16384 and gives an asterisk to 16384. When reversed, it can give an asterisk at a value of +2. If the counter had a value of +2 when returning, then with a positive rotation, an asterisk may appear at a value of 16386 ...
