I have one PC running two Acorn boards - one for a Sherline Mill and the other for a Sherline Lathe. I have the licensed versions for both. I use them one at a time. They connect to the PC through a small eithernet switch.

I set up the Contour Shuttle for the Mill. Works fine.

I came around to the idea that the feed rate was excessive a little while ago. I have the program providing css rates and I overdid it big time! I misplaced a decimal point!

I will look in to the alarms from the drives. - something of which I was not aware.

I have a little mill I have been converting. I had the Acorn board, its pwr supply, an additional 24V supply, two Geckodrive G251X and one G201X drives, plus Automation direct steppers. The z-axis is a slightly bigger motor hence the higher current capable G201X.
