THC wiring help needed
I am finishing up a new DIY plasma table build using the Acorn Plasma controller without THC. It is running great using a Hypertherm 45xp with machine torch mounted on a round mount with two proximity sensors. Both sensors are configured as torch touchoff but act as breakaway sensors while cutting ...

Re: Marking error
Thanks Chris. I decided to go ahead and upgrade to v5.24. I haven't been able to test it out yet due to the weather.

Re: M64 Marking Macro
I've done projects with the marking macro and its worked very well. I made just a quick video demonstrating the marking macro. There is barely a mark on the surface. You can hardly feel the mark with your hand. The Hypertherm is really nice because of how consistent the time to fire is. Check out ...

Re: Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Joey,
I have finally decided that I need to change from using Fusion CAM for plasma and make the switch to Sheetcam. I tried to watch the video at the top of this thread and noticed that is no longer working. Is it me or did the video go away?

Re: Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Did you get this worked out? I am using the Fusion 360 post and may be able to help.

Re: Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Joey,
I use the Fusion PP which is very basic. I want to mark (center punch) small holes which the Fusion post doesn't do. Does the Sheet Cam post have support for marking and possibly feed reduction for small holes? Other features not in the Fusion post?

Re: Material Profiles
I plan to purchase the THC when I get the mechanics of the machine dialed in. The X-axis upgrade really helped but I would like to replace the bearing carriages on the Y-Axis with linear rails. My NEMA 23 motors with the 5:1 gearboxes seem to be working well. But maybe I need larger pinion gears.
I ...

Re: Material Profiles
I ran the new set of test today. I think all the cuts were much better in the curves. There is still more dross than I think there should be on most of them. They are all with 3200 steps/rev and .2 Accel/Decel and smoothing on. I also set pierce delay to zero. It looks like the pierce is ready to go ...
