Re: Wiring Home switches
It also states in the install manual if using proximity sensors THEY MUST BE NPN type. The preferred way that is listed in the install manual is each switch wired to its own input but if you run out of inputs you can series three NC proximity switches together to a single input. If these are your HO...

Re: Centroid Oak with Rexroth IndraDrive M servo drives
The first thing I would do is verify that they have the closed loop firmware with servo functionality as broken down in Chapter 4.1. From this manual, I don't see any way to configure the digital inputs for the Oak's position control signals so I think you'll be limited to velocity mode. The firmwa...

Re: Spindle issue after using a gcode program
Correct, you do not need VFD enable to make a spindle work. You can simply program an output to SpinFWD and make the VFD work. The OP has SpinFWD setup on output 4 so it should work as it always did. When you say you " - When I start the spindle manually, the relay on acorn board doesn't switch...

Yup, they are 5V and you can wire them to the DB25. You can also wire the newer Clearpath servos the the DB25 with 5V.

This is the only option for me in Germany 🤣 Uwe Yes Uwe, I'm jealous for that and your metric system. We also have 3 phase power in every room! :D Oh, that’s just great, why don’t you just kick me when I’m down? It’s hard to find 3 phase here, some of the older industrial parks in my area...

Re: AcornSix accuracy issues.
Those stepper drives and 99% of every other STEPPER drive needs to be wired to H14 and H13. The open collector outputs are for servo drives. Wiring stepper drives to AcornSix H1, H2 and H3 connectors is asking for missed steps. I'm sure your drive manual states they work on open collector outputs bu...

Re: Losing connection with open loop steppers. <resolved >
The entire system can run off 220v. Acorn power supply, PC, VFD, etc. Anytime you have more than one power supply tie the negative outputs (common) together. Running everything on 220 makes wiring much easier and saves energy. :D This is the only option for me in Germany 🤣 Uwe Yes Uwe, I'm jealous ...

Thank you, when he gets the machine powered up I'll check the drive firmware against the table in the manual that you referenced.

Centroid Oak with Rexroth IndraDrive M servo drives
I did a search on the forum for Rexroth drives and one member started a topic about wiring them to an Oak controller. He never followed up his posts with any results. I have a possible retrofit of a Weeke BHP200 5X12 CNC router with two Rexroth IndraDrive M servo drives on the X and Z axis and a Rex...
