Well then, I have the perfect controller for you and it costs $1,000,000. How many do you want?ReactiveLight wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 4:47 pm Yes, I have the manuals. I would prefer to buy a controller with sufficient hardware channels for my purpose, and the cost is not really important.

Re: Tool touch off and probe help needed
Ok I did the recommended steps for the stepper drivers and set them all to 3200 steps, does this look right for my configuration? I dialed it all in and this is what I got for the revs per inch. Not sure if it's correct but my machine travel ispretty much spot on with these settings Please triple c...

Re: AcornSix issues
At what point going backwards do the Acorn Six boards need a firmware update for this? Can you share a date or serial number where the boards need a firmware update? Thanks.

Re: Tool touch off and probe help needed
OK, seeing what drives you have it's impossible to have the steps per rev you have set in the wizard. Set the drives and wizard to be 1600 or 3200. The values you have are incorrect. Did you come over from a Mach3 setup? Read this topic as anything else you do right now is a moot point, you have to ...

Re: Tool touch off and probe help needed
A side note here, looking at your report, I'm not sure how you came up with your steps per revolution. You have them set to 25,400 on the X and Y and 40,650 on the Z axis. Can you share how you got those numbers as those are incorrect settings for Acorn and your drives. What drives are you using? An...

Re: Tool touch off and probe help needed
Please tell us what is happening and why it's not working? What macro are you using? Please post a current report from the machine and/or the PDF with all your current wizard settings. We can't really help unless we know how you are setup and what is or isn't happening. Open the wizard press CTRL P ...

Re: OPCON and USB-BOB
There are lots of joysticks for two axis moving, like in any RC control, or here is an example of a profile measuring machine in my job. But these are analogue, more throw, more speed, or in RC controls more travel speed depending on what is controlled. Uwe Uwe, I already asked about analog joystic...

Yes, what he's talking about doing makes no sense at all. Hopefully he'll elaborate on the "why".

Re: Enable outputs on Acorn
I am using a DB25 interface for my stepper motor outputs. While using this are the enable outputs on H2 and H3 still active to use? If so are the active high or low for enabled? Please tell us what stepper drive you are using, most stepper drives are enabled by default and the ENA connection is not...
