Something else to mention and correct. The drives should not be mounted like they are. There needs to be space between them for cooling. They will overheat and shut down or worse if driven hard the way they are mounted now.

The "L" is so you can start on the edge of long end of the L and then zero the DRO. Then jog straight up with Z and then move towards the short end of the L the known distance. Not sure why it has to be this complicated. If you simply want to interrupt power to the Acorn have a simple SPST switch on your control panel with a guard on it that's locked in the "always on" position inline with the Acorn power and then cycle it when you need a restart.

I have even removed the confirmation of the enter key in my PLC :mrgreen:

So I do not like to be asked if I really want to do what I am doing ;)

Silly question but after you select the drive to load you are clicking the large green button in the lower right corner and following the on screen prompts to save that configuration, yes?

Secondly, you can create a "custom" drive configuration for your particular drive model number and save that ...
