Re: Refurbishing a machine with an M15, needs Backlight to start
I got the replacement, but is this the correct part? The old one is in back, and the new one is in front.

You may be able to test for needing a new backlight bulb by putting a light on the screen.
With a light on it, if you can see the screen it is likely a bad backlight bulb.
If you do need a new backlight bulb we have some in stock, item # 2743.
I was replying when you did. I can still see it ...

Re: Refurbishing a machine with an M15, needs Backlight to start
Okay thanks. I unplugged the tube and get a spark from either live pin on the inverter when touching just one probe to it. My meter started beeping at me for some reason, like it was warning me that I was about the short out the inverter if I tried to touch two pins...I can try again if necessary ...

Refurbishing a machine with an M15, needs Backlight to start
Hi all,
I got an old Atrump mill with an Elrod M15 conversion. I've been cleaning up and going through the machine thoroughly, and one of the problems that I see is no backlight on the screen. I guess I should have wiggled the connectors while the cover was off, so I'll take it back off and do that ...

Re: Elrod Z-Axis Speed Change handle Interference?
Ah, thank you Tom. I guess it's been so long that I forgot how it works. I did add a bracket to the other side and removed the spacers that were mounting it originally. It seems stiff enough but I guess I could add a bracket over there on the right side also.
I'm assuming that the new head will ...

Elrod Z-Axis Speed Change handle Interference?
Hi All,
I just acquired a real variable speed Bridgeport head to put on my clone mill. I'd like to retain low gear, and may replace the vari-speed pulleys with fixed since it runs on a VFD. It looks to me like the speed change handle will interfere with the Z-housing though. What do people do here ...

New Router Finished with a tip and a possible bug
Hi all,
This is my second machine, and it started up easily. It needs some side panels, dust shoe, etc., but everything works. I'll post in the Success Stories once I have a video of it cutting along with more detailed pictures also, but here is what it looks like-
