Hi Y´all.
First of all, I would like to thank everybody for their great input/suggestions and the support from the forum.
Like I said, it would take a couple of "weeks" before I would got arround working on my CNC project again. But it finally happened :D .
Order of measures conducted, tried and ...

Here are links to download the Centroid coarse and fine DRO adjustment procedures. You only need to do the FINE version as you are close.

Re: Test part repeatedly 0,3mm out of spec.
I forgot to mention, your report says you are running 4.64 which is VERY OLD and no longer supported. You should think about updating your software before you continue. Please follow the instructions for installing the latest version of CNC12 and do not "restore report".
Yeah, I know....

Re: Test part repeatedly 0,3mm out of spec.
My money would be on incorrect calibration as you have all 3 axis set to exactly 5.00mm/rev which is highly unlikely. Carefully recalibrate each axis, resetting lash to zero before you start as that will need recalculating once fine calibration is completed

Re: Test part repeatedly 0,3mm out of spec.
Yeah, the idea struck me but I kinda disregarded it. A new 12mm endmill should not be 0.15 under size. But heck, maybe its worth trying with another one.

Test part repeatedly 0,3mm out of spec. < resolved >
Hi.
Been scratching my head for a while now.
When running a test part on my mill, just a 60x60x5mm rectangular square cut on top of a 70x70 aluminum stock, I get an extra 0,3mm in total width.
And it is repeatable.
Using cutter comp for such a big deviation does not feel like the proper way to ...

Linear Glass Scales, Acorn 6 with 4 axis WMPG
Hi.
I'm looking to upgrade my DIY cnc mill Acorn setup to a closed loop system, via the Acorn 6 controller. (Linear glass scales)
So here's my question, is the 4 axis WMPG that I'm using today compatible with Acorn 6?
Just trying to save 300$, I guess

Re: Acorn DMM Servo, wrong axis moves, and other issues.
Hi.
First of all, I would like to thank you all for the support and time you have given me.
I can gladly report that all axis are moving and behaving as they should.
Just as you pointed out, the DMM servos should be run via the DB25 connection, and I can not for any reason understand why the heck ...

Re: Acorn DMM Servo, wrong axis moves, and other issues.
Just remember that when you drop the resistor you need both the 24VDC and 5VDC sources off the Meanwell PS (depicted in the drawing ShawnM attached). I ended up pulling the circuit board entirely from the DMM cables -- would've been easier to just start with fresh DB25s. Further DMM offered to ...
