Following CNCSNW's instructions on how to data-log in PLC Detective, you're right, I'm getting noise on the Y Slave sensor circuit. I'll have to figure out why and correct it.

Set the travel limits, no change in the Y axis homing - the gantry still stops after a few inches of travel if it's not very close to the Y slave sensor trigger. This isn't something I can't work around, but it bothers me that there's something unexplained going on.

I removed the limit switch dead band amount and disabled the probe input. There was no change from the condition shown in the video clip above.

Is there any way to data log the inputs to Acorn?

I just ran the home machine macro about six times. If the Y axis is within an inch or so of the sensor trigger, it zeros and squares Y just fine. I've done all of that from the Centroid Axis Pairing and Squaring instructions, which I've read multiple times.
