Thanks to Swissi and Keith for the info. I now understand how Z ref and in CNC12 and Chips correlate .

I have been searching for information/ schematic for wiring the kp3 probe and tt-4 together , utilizing the 1 centroid harness for each.
CNC 12 v5.22 kp3 input 6-7 and tt-4 on input 3-4. This seems to work using both cnc 12 and Chips . I have read the input should be shared, is this correct ...

After installing 5.06 (wpmp-4) on all axis x,y,z has only only one jog speed x1.
x10 , x100 fail to function.

Scales are of the RS422 type

Acorn Six has three encoder inputs. Will they work with my current magnetic scales? Precision Matthews MagAct 200.

With three encoder inputs used, What about the spindle encoder ? Plan is to set up for mill/turn machine.

The magnetic base for the TT-4 Tool Touch Off for a mill is great . How to mount it in a lathe chuck ? Does it have a threaded hole on the bottom for a stem ?
Or is i possible to convert the KP-3 probe to a tool touch off device ?

Is it possible to Update cnc 12 to newest version without doing bench test and keep all the current settings intact? The install instruction assume a new install ? When restore report is initiated , After v5.02 install ,cnc12 says it cant proceed, wrong version.
