Re: Installing the Acorn with Adtech CNC drives
I'm assuming you are trying to configure a " step and direction" setup. The reversal of the axis in this case, is controlled by the"dir" signal, which should vary between an on and an off state, thus controlling the direction of the motor's rotation. The number of steps per revo...

Re: Installing the Acorn with Adtech CNC drives
Sorry, but I cant help with this. I didn't set up servo alarms. Hello. Hello, step by step I am installing centroid, I have already converted limit and home sensors, emergency stop, I decided to try the configuration you gave in the fourth axis (only rotate), but apparently it does not work correct...

Re: Acorn Six and Hickory
You don't need a separate input for each individual switch. For instance, Acorn only moves one axis at a time during homing, so you can connect all 3 (4?) home switches to one input. Similarly, you can parallel up the +limit and -limit inputs to 2 inputs. The VFD and drive fault lines can all feed ...

Re: Installing the Acorn with Adtech CNC drives
I have 04 servo alarm (04 axis)
How do I transform 04 alarm signals (4 axes) from each motor driver to only 1 general axis error alarm?

if you hardware pair the gantry that free's up the 4th axis for cnc rotary duties. several ways to do this. one way. https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=6761 related info. https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy/downloads/acorn_documentation/paired_axes_acorn_user_guide.pdf Acorn...

Re: Installing the Acorn with Adtech CNC drives
"Don't worry, the physical connector of QS7 is different that QS6." Sorry I'm not sure what you mean there. I recently replaced a faulty QS6 controller with a QS7, and unless my memory fails me, it was just a drop in replacement. I did have to reconfigure the software in the controller to...

Dont worry, the physical connector of QS7 is different that QS6.
CN1 Signal controller terminals in QS6 manual is better explained that QS7.
