Well updating fixed it ,thank you so much for suggesting that update it's been that way for a couple years, i have been sick for a long while and am just getting back into it .

If the finish pass is not working in Intercon will the controler block out the finish pass in a outside Gcode file produced by another software ?

I have lathe pro but the finish pass will not let me select a tool ,its grayed out , i put in the amount of the pass speed and feed is there something i am missing here or what ? I have attched a report file

My screen shows the finish tool greyed out ,it looks like the cutter comp on your screen ,i will try and upgrade it this after noon , and send some screen shots .

I am not sure what file you need here but here is another one ,i made a new file Centroid tst file. nIf this is not what you need tell me how to get to it and what folder its in.

I resolved the MDI problem the feed rate over ride got turned down to 1% when I updated some how ,and I do know the deference between a G98 And a G99 on a lathe and on a mill also.

The connection problem now that's a different kettle of fish I will give that Ethernet switch a try and see what that ...

I am having a problem with the MDi screen if i command a (G1 f1.5 z- 2.0 ) from part zero, the DRO updates to -2.0 but nothing moves am i doing something wrong here ?
It will how ever move with a G0 move but no feed moves ? this is on a lathe i am using the second generation board with the currant ...

The machine is a lathe ,sorry about that, on the schematic it says to hook wire to ZRI on DYN2 drive to input 2 on Acorn ,I was trying to find out why?
And what it was for ?
Because in the wizard if you load the proper schematic it comes up with it, as a limit switch input 2 ,I do not wish to use ...
