I think we're suckin diesel now... For whatever reason, only the Reset device showed up and nothing under USB devices. Now I got it showing up as a USB Serial Device on com 11...popped in the parameter and it's lit up. Thanks for the moral support... I can't explain how it mysteriously showed up aft...

That's just it though...I'm not getting a com port number in the device manager...therefore - I can't set the parameter.

Just following up. I bought this unit for around $10 and it's got nice thin, sharp lines when 6 to 10" above the table. In case anyone else is interested in one...10mm dia 30mm long; 3-5vdc.
